Bonita S. Duprey

July 20, 1927 ~ July 4, 2017 (age 89) 89 Years Old

Bonita S. Duprey, age 89, of Kaukuana, passed away on July 4, 2017. She was born to the late Carl and Rose (O’Donnell) Weigman. Bonnie attended St. Mary’s Grade School and Kaukauna High School. She married Ralph Duprey, the love of her life on May 14, 1949, and enjoyed 68 years together. They were blessed with three children.

Bonnie was a member of St. Katherine Drexel Parish. She was a former member of St. Mary’s Alter Society and was a Eucharist Minister. She volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul. Bonnie enjoyed spending the winters at Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, Alabama. She loved traveling to all parts of the United States and especially Ireland and England. Bonnie will be remembered for her love of golfing, which she once had a hole in one, her love of her family and for her baking she did for her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband, Ralph; her daughters: Connie (John) Manki, Menasha, and Ellen (Rog) Schmidt, Kaukauna; a son, George (Jane) Duprey, Elmhunst, Ill.; grandchildren: Derek Manki, Chicago, Ill., Marisa (Louis) Fisher, Darboy, Adam (Miranda) Schmidt, Evansville, Matt (Kelly) Schmidt, Kaukauna, Kalla (Ross) Ford, Pewaukee, Jessica (Tom) Brown, Elmhunst, Ill., Sara (Steve) Kuczkowski, Romeoville, Ill., Anthony (Jenny) Duprey, Elmhunst, Ill., Michelle (fiance, Brian Spencer) Duprey, Austin, TX; 18 great grandchildren; siblings: Rosella Peterson, Joan Cozzi and Jerry Weigman; sisters-in-law: Tess Roberto and Marian Casper; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her sisters: Rita Joosten, Jane Heraly and Mary Agnes; brothers: Don, Bill, Norman, Ambrose, Leo and Carlie Weigman.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at the Schmidt Chapel at St. Paul Elder Services, 316 E. 14th Street, Kaukauna, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Werner Wolf will be officiating, assisted by Deacon Steve Van De Hey. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rickshaw Fund at St. Paul Elder Services would be appreciated.

The family would like to thank all the staff at the St. Paul Home for their wonderful care and compassion for both of our parents.
