Barbara Ann Elliott
Barbara A. Elliott, age 79, of Little Chute, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 30, 2018. She was born on March 25, 1939, daughter of the late Ted and Ruth (Appleton) Meulemans. She married the love of her life, Tom Elliott on April 20, 1962, recently celebrating 56 years of marriage.
Barb worked at Franciscan Health Care for 25 years before her retirement. She loved sewing, flowers, playing dice with John and Shirley Schumacher, and dancing with her cousin Jerry. Barb mainly loved spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Time spent in their backyard by the pool, watching the grandkids learning to swim, was most precious to her.
Barb is survived by her loving husband, Tom Elliott; children: Greg (Barb) Elliott, Tom (Jennie) Elliott and Kelly (Jim) Koster; grandchildren: Tyler and David Koster, Ashley and Chris Malone, Randi (Nathan) Wilson and Nick McLean; great grandchildren: Corey, Jase and Rosie; siblings: Joan Frederickson, Gary (Janice) Meulemans and Jim Meulemans; brothers and sisters-in-law: Don Janssen, George (Karen) Elliott, Bob (Nancy) Elliott and Barb Elliott; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
Barb was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Ted Meulemans; siblings: Janet (Jim) Weyenberg, Lois (Tom) McMorrow and Karlene Janssen; brothers and sisters-in-law: Roger Frederickson and Kay Meulemans; and many members of Tom’s family.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 601 S. Washington Street, Combined Locks, with Pastor Nate Gauerke officiating.
