Arlene F. Fink
Arlene F. Fink, age 86, of Kaukauna, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 8, 2018 at Helen’s House. She was born on January 27, 1932 on the Wittman family farm, the daughter of the late Steve and Cora (Vanderloop) Wittmann. On January 3, 1952, Arlene married Lyle Fink. For many years she owned and operated the H&R Block in Brillion. Arlene enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.
Arlene is survived by her children: Stan (special friend, Julie Bongers) Fink, Nick (Cathy) Fink, Butch “Lyle” (special friend, Theresa Biesterveld) Fink, Tommy (Donna) Fink and Sandy (Kevin) Uitenbroek; grandchildren: Heather (Adam), Heath (Shanna), Nathan (Kayla), Kayla, Maggie (SF-Sean), Annah, Ryan (Amanda), Amy (Scott), Nina, Kyle (SF-Terian), Katie, Emily (Matt), Brittany, Molly and Mitchell (SF-Melanie); several great grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy (Alan) Zahn; a sister-in-law, Pearl Walker; nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Arlene was preceded in death by her husband Lyle, parents Steve and Cora Wittmann; father and mother-in-law: Nick and Nell Fink; Siblings; Rita (Delbert) Lau, Marvin (special friend Dolores) Wittmann, Laverne (Jerry) Meyer and Gloria (Harland Schuh- Don Steinfest); and Jerry Walker.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at St. Katharine Drexel Parish, St. Mary Church, 119 W. 7th Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Don Everts officiating. The Fink family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at Helen’s House, especially Kelli, Leanne, Sarah and Angela, Dr. Johnson, Dr. Bayer and to ThedaCare at Home Hospice for the compassionate service.
Mom was a very special lady and always full of surprises. Although she suffered from Alzheimer’s last week she was able to recite the Our Father and sing “You are my sunshine”.
