Allie M. “Buck” Greene
Allie Greene, age 88, born September 4, 1929, in Crandon, WI to Ellis and Eva Greene, passed away September 9, 2017, peacefully with family by his side. He served in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1948, occupation of Japan. Allie married the love of his life, Lola Ann Bellamy on March 22, 1952, in Olympia, WA. He retired from US Paper Mills, Menasha in July of 1988.
Allie was a gentle man and devoted his life to God. His favorite pastime was reading his Bible and visiting with friends and family. He also enjoyed fishing with his family, even when he spent more time baiting hoods and removing fish than catching fish.
Allie was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Ann Green; his second wife, Nancy (Schucknecht) Greene; and a son, Allen D. Greene.
Allie is survived by a daughter-in-law, Nancy Greene; daughter, Angie (Mark) Sengenberger; son, Douglas (Jodi) Greene; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A private family service will be held.
The Greene family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Atrium Post Acute Care of Little Chute. You became part of Allie’s family over the past several years and he loved you all.
