John J. Rohr

John Joseph Rohr, age 25, of Darboy, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, September 15, 2016.  John was born on November 5, 1990, son of John C. and Valerie (Pennings) Rohr.  He was a graduate of Kimberly High School and was an accomplished bowler at a very young age.  John enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially bow hunting with his dad. He loved being an uncle to his two nieces and John was a great dad. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

In addition to his parents, John is survived by his loving son, Johnny “J.J.” Rohr; his sister, Amber (Ryan) Searer; his nieces, Aubree and Aliyah; his grandparents, Emmi “Oma” Rohr, Margaret Pennings, and Joe (Cassie) Pennings; his girlfriend, Kiley Croattes; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, other family members and friends.

John was preceded in death by his grandpa, Charles A. “Opa” Rohr.  

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal St., Little Chute. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
