Jan is a wonderful women! My heart breaks for the lose of a miraculous leader. I had a hard way of getting to my confirmation but with the faith of Jan, Ken, and my sister I made it through. As I sat in mass today on one of the most important days of my beautiful daughters life, I was filled with memories of Jan when they said a special prayer for her during mass. So as a message to Jan.
Jan, thank you for providing the help to get me where I am today in my faith. As I watched my two little girls get baptized today I was reminded of how great the gift of having God in our lives is. Your kind words and compelling faith showed me the light to God! So for that I am forever grateful.

Wishing peace and love to entire Vande Hey family during this time. In addition to growing up as a neighbor to Ken and Jan's family, Jan was tremendous support for me way back during grade and high school years, from taking me in when locking myself out of my parent's house in grade school to going to Colorado and many other church retreats, I will always treasure my memories of Jan.
