James E. “Jimmer” Fisch, 49, of Appleton, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017, with family by his side. He was born June 19, 1967, to Bonnie and James R. Fisch. The youngest of seven children he led a happy and full life. He was filled with love, and loved by so many.
Jim worked at Valley Packaging for 27 years. He loved going to work every day, and he made many great friends there. Jim also participated in many Special Olympic sports, bowling, track, baseball, swimming, basketball, and golf. He loved golf. He was a competitive sportsman and won many medals. He was most proud of winning the National Special Olympic gold, silver and bronze medals in golf.
Jim is survived by his mother Bonnie (Bill); sisters: Jane, JoAnn, Jeanne (Tom); brother, Joe; sister in law Rita (Jim); nieces and nephews Beth, John, Maggie (Goddaughter), Daniel, Katie and Gabe; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is proceeded in death by his father Jim; brother, Jon; and sisters Jenny and infant Jan.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Holy Spirit Parish, Holy Angels Church in Darboy (Appleton). Visitation will be from noon until the time of the Mass.

The family would like to thank Dr. Goggins and all the staff at Fox Valley Hematology & Oncology, and all the special nurses and staff at St. Elizabeth, 4th floor.
