Helen Marie (Pennings) (Kobussen) Dutkievic, 99, Little Chute, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015. She was born September 29, 1915, in Mattoon, WI, daughter of William and Bertha (Knorr) Pennings. Helen married Harvey Kobussen on July 21, 1936, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Kaukauna, and he preceded her in death on September 29, 1979. They were married for 43 years. Helen then married Claire Dutkievic on October 23, 1989, in Appleton, and he has also preceded her in death. Helen was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Combined Locks.
Helen is survived by her sister, Evelyn Schmidt of Sherwood; her brother, Clarence Pennings of Little Chute; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Helen was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Ellen Marie; two sons: James and Eugene Kobussen; her parents; siblings: Marie Pennings, Beatrice (Giles) Watry, Alvin (Betty) (Donna) Pennings, Lila (Norbert) Delrow; brother-in-law, Julius Schmidt; and a sister-in-law, Eunice Pennings.
