Carson Childs Remington, III, peacefully entered into the fullness of Eternal Life at home in his favorite room on July 9, 2017, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 55. Resident of Little Chute for 22 years. Devoted husband for 19 years (32 years together) of Shawn (nee Munger) Remington. They were married in Las Vegas in October 1997. Dedicated and loving father of Zachary Robert Munger. He had a passion for life, most of all golf! He also loved the Green Bay Packers, traveling with family, bowling, concerts, fishing, water skiing, being on the Chain ‘O Lakes in Waupaca, camping, water and theme parks, HBO, and HGTV! He took great pride in his career spanning 30 years with Copps Food Center and Pick ‘N Save as a Produce Manager. He won several awards for various displays and projects for the company. He and Shawn also adored their cats throughout their lives together. He was an amazing and fierce friend to all those who knew him. He will be remembered fondly and missed dearly by so many people.
Carson is survived by: his wife Shawn, son Zachary, and was the brother of Mary Elise (Bill) Judge, Claire (Mike) Alt, Amy (Rick) Flom, Allison (Bill) Cassato, Leslie (Chip) Hansen, and Heather (Edward) Jackson. Also, survived by two sister's-in-law, Mary Smit, Sheila (Joseph) Arnoldussen, and a brother-in-law, Kevin (Lynn) Munger. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Carson Childs Remington, Jr and his mother Marieta (nee Birner) Remington.
Visitation will take place Saturday, July 29, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine Street, Little Chute.
