Carl is survived by his wife, Grace, his children, Susan (Bob) Zahn, Kathryn (Tony) Cardoza, Mike (fiancé Pattie Bell) Kessler, Jane (Tim) Shaffer, Lora (Jim) Ring, and Tim Kessler.  He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Bill Kessler, Elizabeth Biesterveld, George (Pat) Kessler, Chris (Rob) Wierzbinski, two brothers-in-law, David (Dolores) Hartzheim and Leon Hartzheim, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Carl was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Van Krey and JoAnn Coenen.

Funeral services for Carl will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 410 Wallace St., Combined Locks, with Fr.
