Blanche Kerrigan Obituary

  “On January 26th our Mom was blessed to spend her 91st birthday with her family here, and then continuing her celebration with her loved ones in heaven.”Blanche A. Kerrigan, Kaukauna, was born in Little Chute on January 26, 1927, and passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on January 26, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Joe and Rose (Lamers) Sanderfoot. In 1947 Blanche married Gordon Kerrigan. They enjoyed 57 wonderful years together before Gordon preceded her in death in 2005. Together they raised 10 children and worked together on the family farm.
  Blanche was a woman of incredible strength and resilience. She showed unconditional love for all those she knew and especially treasured the time spent with her family. She enjoyed shopping, crafting, decorating, traveling, making memories at the family cottage, and any opportunity for a celebration. 
  Blanche will be sadly missed by her children: Nancy (Larry) De Groot, Carla (Harry) Reichwald, Lyle (Sandie) Kerrigan, Jane (Greg) Larson, Carol (Jeff) Meulemans, Mark (Jeanne) Kerrigan, Joan (Tim) Zak and Lynn (Jeff) Laack; 19 grandchildren: Scott De Groot, Greg (Heather) De Groot, Brian (Nicki) Kerrigan, Kevin (Shawna) Kerrigan, David (Angie) Kerrigan, Curt (Angel) Coenen, Michelle (Scott) Tease, Eric (special friend, Nora) Larson, Corrie (Patrick) Crothers, Nicci (Josh) Verbeten, Kyle (Trisha) Meulemans, Rochelle (Matt) Coopman, Mason Meulemans, Kari (Mike) Besel, Keith (Beth) Kerrigan, Jarred Zak, Tyler Zak, Kristin (special friend, Justin) Laack and Connor Laack; 32 great grandchildren: Ryan, Kayla, Kaitlyn, Carson, Caden, Jake, Josie, Chase, Cameron, Kennedy, Lexi, Jordyn, Tanner, Taylor, Sam, Ross, Mya, Sean, Claire, Riley, Elaina, Aaron, Madelynn, Lydia, Sophia, Aubrey, Mia, Michael, Andrew, Blake, Parker and Paige; siblings: Ceil Weyenberg, Joyce Tiedt, Joe (Rachel) Sanderfoot and Bob (Mary) Sanderfoot; Goddaughters: Sally Dickenson and Lori Verhagen; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
  Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; parents: Joe and Rose; sons: Paul and Mike Kerrigan; grandson, Christopher Reichwald; brothers-in-law: Melvin Weyenberg and Nathan Tiedt; and all of Gordon’s siblings.
  Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute, from 4:00 p.m. until the Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at St. Clare Parish, Wrightstown site, 423 Main Street, Wrightstown, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
