Alice M. Janssen, age 74, of Little Chute, passed away surrounded by her loving family on July 11, 2017. She was born on October 26, 1942, daughter of the late Elmer and Magdalen (Nackers) Eiting. On October 10, 1970, she married Mike Janssen, and together they have shared 46 years of marriage.
Alice enjoyed fishing, playing cards, crocheting, baking and her trips to the casino. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was an amazing grandmother, mother and wife. She will be missed.
Alice is survived by her husband, Mike Janssen; her children: Ann (Paul) Hoelzel, Steve (Carra) Janssen, Jenny (Jeff) Biese, Sally Janssen, and Greg (Theresa) Janssen; grandchildren: Nathan Janssen, Evan and John Hoelzel, Allie and Michael Janssen, Addam and Robbert Biese, Vince, Victor and MacCoy Bevers, Hailey and Hannah Janssen; a brother, Dick (Betty) Eiting; brothers and sisters-in-law: Jack Berghuis, Clifford Feldkamp, Judy Eiting, Gene (Virgie) Janssen, Don Janssen, Pat Janssen, and Marv (Pat) Janssen; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Magdalen Eiting; siblings: Janice (Ray) Van Zeeland, Helen (Butchie) Feldkamp, Rosemary Berghuis, and Robert Eiting; father and mother-in-law, Henry and Genevieve Janssen; brother-in-law, Cliff Janssen and sister-in-law, Karlene Janssen.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at St. Francis Catholic Church, 433 County Road CE, Hollandtown, with Fr. Willie Vande Loo officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery.
